Hi, I am going to write about my new Neighborhood. Since I moved into Vancouver city, I have my very new neighbors and neighborhood places.
First, we were unknown neighbors to each others before I came for the first month. Last snow season is a good time to say hi or hello to all neighbors around my house. The heavy snow came down a lot this year was a good time for us to share our street work on that Friday of February.
I often make egg rolls and it has a name “Cha Ram” in Vietnamese language. I gave some to my neighbors for enjoying the tastes from Vietnamese food styles. I know that egg and salad rolls, and fried cakes (banh xeo) are selling a lot at some restaurants Portland, Oregon where I often go for dinner. I would like to share our the Vietnamese food styles to my neighbors. They really love it. Fantastic huh!
Last things are places in the neighborhood: Post Office, Store, Library, Bank, mailbox,… They are so new places to me when my first day of moving here Vancouver. Although, city of Vancouver is small but it has all things that I can go for the services that I want to go. FredMayer store is not closed to my house so that I can walk but I can drive my car there. Post Office, Bank, and the Library are far away from my house. It should be the same miles I guessed.
So what are your neighborhoods?
